TL;DR
Integration Technician (Fusion Energy): Assembling and integrating electromechanical components and subsystems for fusion generators and subscale plasma devices with an accent on technical drawings, production equipment, and safety-critical hardware assembly. Focus on testing and troubleshooting assemblies, improving fixtures and production processes, and supporting full-scale builds on a second shift.

Location: On-site in Everett, Washington, United States. Second shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $29–$43 per hour.

What you will do

  • Assemble, install, and integrate electromechanical components and subsystems onto fusion generator structures and production hardware.
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, rework, and quality checks for mechanical and electrical assemblies.
  • Read technical drawings, manuals, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, production equipment, and light fabrication tools.
  • Help develop and improve assembly fixtures, tools, and production processes.
  • Record work performed and hardware status while escalating assembly issues and collaborating with technicians and supervisors.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of technician experience in manufacturing, prototyping, or hardware assembly.
  • Hands-on experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting electromechanical components or systems.
  • Experience with basic hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
  • Overhead crane and rigging experience, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Ability to work onsite in Everett and support the second shift schedule. Must be able to squat, reach, climb, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

  • Welding experience.
  • WABO certification.
