Program Manager - Localization

Location: Hybrid role based in Oak Brook, Illinois, or Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States, or Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil

Annual salary: $106,725–$163,645, plus applicable bonus.

What you will do

• Manage translation initiatives across vehicle displays, cloud applications, mobile and web products, and construction equipment platforms.
• Coordinate priorities, timelines, quality standards, and decisions across product, engineering, UX, translation, and external vendor teams.
• Oversee translation lifecycle activities including transaction cadence, verification, terminology management, defect tracking, and resolution.
• Develop validation protocols, milestone plans, resource allocations, success metrics, and leadership reports.
• Oversee XTM translation system updates and coordinate issue resolution across translation, systems, and engineering teams.
• Track deliverables and development branches using Jira, Confluence, Polarion, and related program management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in localization or translation project management, ERP systems, and change management including ECOs.
• Strong organization, communication, multitasking, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, UX, localization, internal teams, and external vendors.
• US-based applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; employment verification is conducted through Form I-9 and E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Electrical or mechanical engineering experience, especially with electronics, ECUs, and introducing hardware into manufacturing.
• Program management training or PMP certification.
• Experience in agricultural or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Atlassian tools, Jira Scrum methodologies, Polarion, and translation management systems such as XTM.
• Leadership, team influence, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
