Senior QA Engineer (Drupal/Vue)

What you will do

• Own and evolve the quality strategy for the North American engineering team.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and exploratory testing for Drupal and Vue.js features.
• Develop and maintain UI, API, integration, regression, functional, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and partner with SRE and Engineering on test environments, test data, and release validation.
• Define release entry and exit criteria, provide go/no-go recommendations, and communicate defects, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Mentor QA engineers and developers, participate in incident root-cause analysis, and drive preventive quality improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing, including significant experience with web-based SaaS products.
• Hands-on experience with Drupal or similar PHP-based platforms, PHPUnit, MySQL, and modern JavaScript frontend testing.
• Experience with Cypress or Playwright; React or Angular experience is acceptable with willingness to learn Vue.js.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, REST clients, and automated API tests, plus CI/CD integration.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, shift-left testing, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience with generative AI such as Claude Code for automated tests, workflows, and other automations.

Nice to have

• Experience with security-conscious testing and regulated or compliance-oriented environments.
• Cross-browser and cross-device testing experience.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
