Quality Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is hiring for a unified Quality Engineering function embedded within engineering squads.

What you will do

• Design risk-based test strategies for features and releases and convert them into automated coverage.
• Build and maintain Playwright test suites integrated with GitHub Actions and CI/CD quality gates.
• Design agentic testing workflows using AI models and APIs to generate, adapt, and maintain tests.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, utilities, shared libraries, and AI-powered testing tools.
• Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to identify risks early and embed quality throughout delivery.
• Improve test-suite health, automation coverage, execution speed, flakiness rates, and release confidence.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including code review, validation, and debugging across modern programming languages.
• Strong experience with modern test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright.
• Experience using AI coding agents as a primary development partner for generating, reviewing, debugging, refactoring, and maintaining code.
• Experience building scalable automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar platforms.
• Experience with agentic testing frameworks, AI-powered testing tools, or LLM API integrations.
• Understanding of quality engineering, test strategy, risk analysis, defect prevention, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience testing AI-powered products, agents, or LLM-based applications.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks for AI-generated outputs.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI quality assessment, or AI observability.
• Experience with performance, load, or resilience testing.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, testing tools, or engineering productivity solutions.
