Corporate Counsel - Healthcare (Healthcare Software)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 annually, plus eligibility for the Bonus Program

What you will do

• Advise assigned Harris Healthcare business units on corporate, commercial, technology, and healthcare legal matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and close customer and vendor agreements, including license, reseller, service, technology development, and nondisclosure agreements.
• Lead corporate and commercial transactions from structuring through closing, depending on experience.
• Create and maintain template agreements aligned with business and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and cross-functional teams while advising internal clients and supporting business growth.
• Identify legal trends and risks, interact with external counsel, and assist with negotiations and dispute resolution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience at a well-respected law firm or company.
• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare law, including HIPAA, data privacy, and security.
• Experience reviewing and drafting technology and software license agreements.
• Juris Doctor degree and membership in good standing of a State Bar.
• Strong judgment, drafting, communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Must be eligible to work remotely from within the United States.

Nice to have

• International contracting experience and familiarity with GDPR, UK, and other international privacy laws.
• International medical device regulatory or contracting experience.
• Familiarity with CCPA and other state privacy and breach notification laws.
