Senior Legal Counsel (Enterprise)

Location: New York, NY; in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Base salary: $195,000–$225,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as a strategic legal and business partner to Enterprise leadership and stakeholders across Finance, People, Technology, and Mammoth Labs.
• Draft, negotiate, and advise on complex corporate and commercial agreements while balancing legal risk and business priorities.
• Support strategic transactions, investments, financings, and other corporate initiatives.
• Advise on technology, data privacy, cybersecurity, AI-related matters, commercial arrangements, and emerging legal issues.
• Advise the People team on employment-related legal matters and develop company policies and procedures.
• Provide or oversee legal training for Enterprise stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and J.D., with admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 7 years of relevant legal experience, including significant in-house experience.
• Experience across corporate, commercial, employment, and data privacy matters.
• Strong legal judgment, risk assessment, communication, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Ability to provide practical, business-focused advice in a fast-moving environment and anticipate emerging risks.
• Comfort using AI-enabled legal tools and interest in improving legal work through technology.
