Contract & Corporate Generalist

Location: Ohio, United States; remote 100%

What you will do

• Review and negotiate direct and indirect procurement contracts, including data processing agreements, using a CLM system.
• Apply AI-enabled contract review tools and approved legal playbooks to identify standard terms, non-standard risks, and escalation points.
• Resolve routine contract issues, prepare risk analyses, coordinate negotiations, and support signing in line with the Delegation of Authority policy.
• Partner with Procurement and Legal Automation teams to enable timely contract execution and improve review workflows.
• Provide paralegal support across compliance, transactions, sales, employment legal matters, corporate governance, and legal intake.
• Support emerging legal projects and coordinate information and communications with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in an in-house legal department or major corporate law firm.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a junior lawyer may also be considered.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts for purchased and sold products, SaaS, and AI-based vendors.
• Experience using CLM, legal workflow, and matter management platforms, as well as contract playbooks.
• Strong written communication, organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be based in the United States, with the position performed remotely from a home office.
