Claremont Cable Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor manufacturing processes, identify trends and out-of-control conditions, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze, and report engineering data for process control, capability improvement, productivity, and quality performance.
• Lead capital projects involving plant capacity increases, new product introductions, equipment upgrades, and process transfers.
• Develop materials, investigate cost-effective alternatives, and support product trials and new process implementation.
• Lead continuous improvement and complex problem-solving initiatives using Design of Experiments, Lean Six Sigma, Just-in-Time, 6S, and root-cause analysis.
• Create work instructions, training materials, standard operating procedures, project reports, and process performance updates.

Requirements

• High school diploma with relevant work experience; a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering is preferred.
• Ability to lead and train others and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong critical-thinking, analytical, written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Experience or capability in process improvement, quality audits, equipment performance review, and engineering data analysis.
• Ability to work onsite in Claremont, North Carolina.
