Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Natchitoches, Louisiana, United States; facility-based manufacturing role with up to 10% travel. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

What you will do

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for internal quality issues, warranty cases, and customer returns.
• Develop and maintain product and process verification methods, Control Plans, and PFMEAs.
• Conduct quality audits and train and coach personnel on audit procedures and quality standards.
• Monitor internal PPM, scrap performance, and other quality metrics to identify trends and prevent recurring issues.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, product teardown, and failure analysis activities.
• Work with CMM equipment, GD&T requirements, engineering standards, and the ISO 9001:2015-based Quality Management System.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, auditing, statistical analysis, and quality tools.
• Expertise in structured root cause analysis methods such as 5-Why, Fishbone, A3, or DMAIC.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; temporary visa holders and candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
