Process Improvement Technician (Blending & Process)

Location: Reno, NV, USA; onsite manufacturing role

Pay rate: $37.48 per hour

What you will do

• Serve as the process subject matter expert for safety, quality, operational excellence, and performance improvements.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify losses, risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Daily Problem Solving, A3, DMAIC, and related methodologies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process, technology, and automation improvements.
• Maintain process metrics, SOPs, CILs, work instructions, and process maps.
• Train employees on revised processes and monitor changes for quality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, automation systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, computer systems, data analysis, and visualization tools.
• Ability to identify root causes, solve complex problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, organization, initiative, and follow-through skills.
• Basic math skills and flexibility to support varying schedules as needed.
