AWS Developer (AI)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $118,860–$190,176 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of new capabilities for the Artemis IT delivery platform.
• Build full-stack features with React, TypeScript, Python or Node.js, APIs, and AWS cloud services.
• Develop AI-enabled capabilities and agent-based workflows, including prompt and context design, evaluation, and safety guardrails.
• Design integrations with Snowflake, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other enterprise systems.
• Establish reusable architecture patterns, coding standards, shared components, automated tests, and CI/CD practices.
• Support production deployments, troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root-cause analysis, review pull requests, mentor developers, and present new capabilities to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting production applications.
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript, plus Python or Node.js services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, relational databases, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with generative AI applications, large language models, agent-based workflows, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Experience with GitHub workflows, automated testing, release and deployment processes, and production support.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Production experience delivering AI agents or LLM-based solutions.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries, including SOX, audit, and IT risk.
• Experience setting architecture patterns, coding standards, reusable components, component libraries, or shared UI frameworks.
• Experience mentoring developers or serving as a technical lead.
• Experience with workflow, low-code, process automation, Agile delivery, or Azure DevOps.
