Principal Full Stack Developer & Solutions Architect (AI, Data & Cloud)

Location: San Jose, California, with regular on-site work alongside engineering teams; secondary office location in Irvine, California.

Salary: $157,700–$210,300 per year.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for product development use cases across AI/ML, data analytics, cloud, and engineer-facing interfaces.
• Design agentic systems, orchestration workflows, tool use, multi-agent boundaries, human-in-the-loop controls, and model guardrails.
• Define evaluation methodologies, golden sets, regression suites, and quality gates for LLM-based solutions.
• Architect ingestion, semantic, retrieval, analytics, and data product layers with strong data quality, lineage, and permissions.
• Design AWS and containerized platforms, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, deployment patterns, and cost-aware architectures.
• Build full-stack applications, APIs, orchestration services, data access layers, and user interfaces while mentoring engineers and managing software developers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field; 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• End-to-end solution architecture experience across application, data, cloud, or AI domains, including production ownership.
• Strong Python and SQL skills plus proficiency with React/TypeScript, Streamlit, or Gradio for independently shipping usable internal tools.
• Hands-on experience with LLM applications, LangGraph, Langflow or equivalent orchestration frameworks, tool/function calling, MCP integrations, and RAG architectures.
• Experience with data engineering, Airflow or dbt, warehouse or lakehouse platforms, BI tools, AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work on-site in San Jose, California, with regular embedded time alongside engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Production delivery of AI or analytics solutions at meaningful scale with evidence of adoption.
• Experience in semiconductor, storage, or hardware product development and familiarity with engineering toolchains.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms, data governance frameworks, design systems, and developer-facing products.
