VP Software Engineering (SaaS)

Provides software and service solutions for financial reporting and capital markets transactions, including SaaS products.

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams in planning, executing, and delivering the product roadmap.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, operational software.
• Align engineering teams with architecture practices to reduce silos and build strong products.
• Manage organizational structures, career progression, budgets, and finances.
• Recruit, train, and develop teams while multiplying engineering impact across operational issues, bugs, requirements, and processes.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Product leadership to set and achieve ambitious goals.

Requirements

• Strong leadership skills, including motivation, accountability, performance under pressure, and resource optimization.
• Excellent knowledge of modern technology trends and their application to new products.
• Knowledge of evolving data architectures.
• Deep software engineering expertise, including programming languages, object-oriented programming, fault-tolerant distributed systems, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, distributed data, and data modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience leading software product development teams and 15+ years of software development experience on revenue-generating systems and applications.
