Procurement Specialist

Location: New Albany, Ohio, United States (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead major, high-value, and complex sourcing and contract development events.
• Draft complex and non-standard contracts covering pricing, performance criteria, service levels, warranties, terms, conditions, and risk mitigations.
• Prepare modifications to existing contracts and coordinate with Legal when needed.
• Advise category managers and procurement professionals on contract development, negotiations, and sourcing strategies.
• Apply pricing, cost containment, pricing cap, total-cost-of-ownership, and index-based models.
• Collaborate with supply chain, service center, and business partners to resolve recurring issues and improve efficiency and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, supply chain, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in contract management, paralegal work, or supply chain.
• Deep understanding of contract design and structure, including terms, language, templates, performance criteria, and related components.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, stakeholders, suppliers, and leadership.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in New Albany, Ohio.

• Experience in the utility, manufacturing, or construction industry.
