Comm/Electrical Engineer (Space Systems)

What you will do

• Provide subject-matter expertise for space system communication systems.
• Support the design, analysis, integration, and testing of communication systems.
• Oversee multiple task orders or a single program involving multiple staff members.
• Support assembly integration and testing of complete space vehicles and communication systems.
• Develop communication test beds and support EM/EDU communication system testing.
• Support European Space Agency space system frequency allocation and provide ad hoc engineering support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in space system communication and electrical engineering, including RF communications.
• End-to-end space system experience implementing, testing, and flying RF communication systems.
• Space systems engineering aptitude and the ability to present data and recommendations to large audiences.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing deadlines, schedules, priorities, and unpredictable events.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Laser communication expertise.
• Experience managing tactical and strategic communications, marketing, and work-product development.
• Customer relationship management experience.
