MCU SIU Investigator

Location: CA - Diamond Bar, United States; full-time, onsite investigative role.

Annual base salary: $85,600–$141,200, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Analyze highly technical information from multiple sources and use analytics resources to develop complex investigations.
• Prioritize cases involving complex allegations, significant financial impact, multiple claims, and multiple lines of business or states.
• Maintain relationships with business partners, public officials, law enforcement officers, and other investigative contacts.
• Apply rules of evidence and collect, interpret, and preserve material relevant to investigations.
• Present cases as a subject matter expert and provide technical training and investigative insights.
• Adapt to new technologies, system upgrades, and digital tools, particularly those involving AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of investigative, insurance claims, underwriting, or legal-related experience.
• Analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, influence, and conflict-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, make investigative decisions, establish significant facts, and preserve material evidence.
• Working knowledge of insurance and claims operations, including Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Workers Compensation products.
• Ability to apply local, state, and federal statutes to investigative work.
