Senior Supervisor, Trust & Safety Investigations

Location: Phoenix, Arizona; hybrid schedule with required in-office work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Not eligible for fully remote work.

Base salary: $73,000–$83,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and manage Trust & Safety Investigators handling vehicle crimes, critical incidents, fraud, and other platform risks.
• Provide case management, investigative guidance, report review, and oversight to ensure accurate and timely resolutions.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and develop investigators while setting performance expectations and improving investigative capabilities.
• Develop investigative strategies and workflows that improve accuracy, reduce bottlenecks, and increase operational efficiency.
• Analyze auto-theft and platform-risk trends and communicate actionable findings to Trust & Safety leadership.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and external partners on evidence gathering, criminal investigations, subpoenas, search warrants, and asset recovery.

Requirements

• 2+ years supervising or managing high-performing teams, including coaching junior and senior contributors.
• 4+ years of operational or investigative experience, preferably in Trust & Safety or risk management.
• Strong analytical, investigative, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, manage changing priorities, and maintain high integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office and the ability to learn investigative tools quickly.
• Ability to work from the Phoenix office on the required hybrid schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays for 24/7 operations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Trust & Safety experience in a peer-to-peer marketplace or car-sharing business.
• Experience with TransUnion TLOxp, LexisNexis Accurint, or comparable skip-tracing tools.
• CFE or equivalent investigations or fraud certification.
• Experience working with law enforcement on asset recovery or criminal investigations.
