Senior Fraud Strategist (AI)

Annual base salary: $155,000–$185,000

What you will do

• Develop and execute fraud strategies, roadmaps, and supporting capabilities across hirify.global Engagement Platform Services and operating companies.
• Translate fraud risks, customer needs, business objectives, and control gaps into data-supported functional and technical requirements.
• Lead fraud mitigation workstreams from concept through implementation with product, engineering, analytics, data science, operations, payments, identity, and external partners.
• Monitor fraud and abuse trends across digital and physical goods, accounts, entitlements, identity signals, payments, and platform behavior.
• Improve fraud tools, workflows, detection rules, risk signals, and operational processes to increase precision and reduce false positives and customer friction.
• Define fraud metrics, dashboards, KPIs, business cases, executive summaries, escalation paths, and operational playbooks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in online fraud risk mitigation, fraud analytics, trust and safety, risk strategy, or a related domain.
• 3–5+ years of experience in fraud strategy, fraud product management, fraud program delivery, or a closely related role.
• Deep knowledge of fraud typologies, risk scoring, account security, identity abuse, payments risk, and fraud lifecycles in ecommerce, digital commerce, online services, or platform environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to accommodate meetings with global colleagues and partners across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with online payments, digital commerce, digital media platforms, connected-device ecosystems, or account security systems.
• Experience with fraud vendors, agile methodologies, experimentation frameworks, rule engines, and fraud platform development.
• Experience with Tableau, Domo, Splunk, Snowflake, or similar analytics and monitoring tools.
• Proficiency using approved AI tools for analysis, pattern identification, synthesis, and documentation.
• Japanese language skills.
