Senior Analyst, SIU Investigator (Health Insurance)

Location: Remote for candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas; occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

Salary: $72,036–$94,547 per year, plus annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Identify and independently investigate suspected fraud, waste, and abuse in claims and enrollment data.
• Manage investigative cases from identification through resolution, including overpayment recovery and savings measurement.
• Prepare formal reports, graphs, audit logs, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze prior cases to identify similar claims and develop preventive edits and prepayment processes.
• Help develop and present fraud, waste, and abuse education for internal teams.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations while meeting caseload and recovery targets.

Requirements

• Must reside in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, or Texas.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• 3+ years of insurance claims investigation or professional investigation experience with law enforcement agencies.
• 1+ year of experience with applicable fraud statutes, regulations, federal recoupment guidelines, and anti-fraud, waste, and abuse activity.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
• Health insurance experience involving claims processing, billing, reimbursement, or provider contracting.
• Experience with HIPAA, data privacy, or data security processes.
• CFE, AHFI, CAFP, CPC, or similar certification.
