Relationship Banker Business Specialist

Location: Libertyville, Illinois, United States; in-office at the Chicago Main/Libertyville Branch

Base salary: $57,750–$96,250 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Acquire and expand consumer and business banking relationships with businesses under $2 million in sales revenue.
• Generate leads, conduct appointments inside and outside the branch, and create qualified referrals to banking partners.
• Coordinate with Business Banking, Mortgage, Wealth Management, Private Bank, branch leadership, and other ecosystem partners.
• Recommend tailored solutions across deposits, lending, cash management, payments, and investing.
• Build client loyalty through lobby engagement, technology education, responsive problem-solving, and ongoing servicing.
• Follow policies and procedures, manage risk, and support accurate daily branch operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Typically less than one year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
• Knowledge of banking products, business acumen, prospecting, selling, customer experience management, and effective communication.
• Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state.
• Ability to complete additional background checks required under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available for this position.
