Manager, Maintenance (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage the maintenance and engineering department, including maintenance costs, contractors, preventive maintenance, and equipment installations.
• Build, lead, and train a maintenance and engineering team focused on safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
• Oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
• Plan, execute, and track capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
• Apply lean principles and downtime data analysis to reduce waste, improve throughput, and strengthen operational metrics.
• Partner with production and quality teams on new processes, equipment improvements, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including safe usage, maintenance, and storage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and applications used to optimize production processes.
• Ability to assess performance, coach and develop employees, lead by example, and communicate effectively across roles.
• Ability to lead multiple operational initiatives, including training, development, standardization, and equipment normalization.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental protection, employee protection, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work safely in a safety-sensitive position and remain available outside normal working hours.
