Director, Global Warehouse Automation (Warehouse Automation)

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and lead the global warehouse automation strategy across hirify.global's distribution network.
• Establish warehouse design principles, standards, and best practices for global fulfillment operations.
• Lead large-scale warehouse automation and digitization programs, including $20M–$30M capital investments.
• Evaluate and implement automation technologies, equipment, warehouse systems, and material-handling solutions.
• Build business cases and investment strategies for automation and network transformation opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional change, standardization, stakeholder alignment, and adoption of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Significant experience leading warehouse automation, distribution center design, or supply chain transformation in a global organization.
• Proven experience managing complex capital projects involving warehouse automation, mechanization, and digital technologies.
• Deep expertise in warehouse operations, warehouse management systems, automation technologies, material handling, and distribution center best practices.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation through direct and indirect teams, influencing multiple functions and regions.
• Strong communication, presentation, executive engagement, business-case development, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.
