Sr Director, Global Distribution Operations & Logistics

Location: Onsite at a Cytiva site in the United States or Europe; the role requires international travel of up to 50%.

Annual salary in the United States: $225,000–$275,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Shape and execute global logistics and distribution strategies across company-operated and 3PL-managed distribution centers.
• Lead large, high-velocity distribution operations covering more than 10,000 SKUs, multiple product categories, and temperature modes.
• Oversee inbound, outbound, international, and intercompany transportation operations.
• Lead global, matrixed organizations through structural, digital, and operating-model transformation.
• Manage 3PL and carrier performance, contracts, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Drive process standardization, digitalization, sustainability, and hirify.global Business System continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, logistics, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, and transportation operations, including at least 5 years in senior leadership.
• Experience leading global logistics networks involving air and ocean freight, multimodal transportation, customs, and compliance.
• Experience owning operating expense budgets of $100M or more and managing P&L accountability.
• Ability to negotiate and manage sophisticated 3PL and carrier contracts, including dispute resolution.
• Strong executive communication, international leadership, decision-making, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience directly leading large-scale distribution centers and global 3PL networks across multiple regions.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical distribution and logistics.
