Sr ServiceNow Product Owner

Location: Hybrid, onsite 1–2 times per week in Reston, Virginia; onsite interview required. Must be a USC or GC holder.

Salary: $73 per hour.

What you will do

• Own and manage the ServiceNow product backlog, including epics, features, and user stories.
• Partner with business analysts, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to refine requirements and prioritize enhancements.
• Define acceptance criteria and approve or reject completed development work.
• Ensure ServiceNow solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with platform best practices.
• Support Agile ceremonies, improve backlog grooming, communicate product updates, and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Promote Agile principles and mentor team members as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of Product Owner experience or 6 years of IT, business analysis, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities, including CSM, ITSM, and/or CRM.
• Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and working in Agile teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• USC or GC holder status required; onsite presence in Reston 1–2 times per week is required.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow certifications.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience with SAFe.
