Project Manager (Property and Construction Risk)

Location: Hybrid; reasonable commute required to Albany, New York; New York, New York; Buffalo, New York; Richmond, Virginia; Charlotte, North Carolina; or Nashville, Tennessee, United States

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage property and construction risk projects, schedules, deliverables, and client requirements.
• Prepare and quality-control Property Condition Assessments, Plan and Cost Reviews, and Pay Application Reviews or Construction Draw Inspections.
• Develop client-specific report templates, proposals, and project budgets.
• Review and approve project invoicing and support technical reporting activities.
• Train staff on property and construction risk reporting and technical requirements.
• Support business development with commercial and construction lenders, developers, and legal clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Five to seven years of relevant construction, architecture, construction management, or engineering experience.
• Experience completing Property Condition Assessments, Plan and Cost Reviews, and Pay Application Reviews or Construction Draw Inspections for commercial and construction lending.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and provide QA/QC for due diligence reports.
• Understanding of ASTM E2018 and applicable state and federal regulations and guidance.
• Technical writing skills, business development ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deltek and Quire report-writing software.
• Knowledge of climate resiliency applications in construction risk management.
