Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States; hybrid workplace, based in the Richmond office and supporting projects throughout Virginia

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow regulated building materials, environmental due diligence, and Brownfields services in Virginia.
  • Lead business development activities, client relationships, proposals, presentations, networking, and pursuit strategy.
  • Support multidisciplinary divisions by identifying opportunities to integrate environmental services into projects and client engagements.
  • Manage projects, including scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, deliverables, client communication, and regulatory coordination.
  • Provide technical oversight and quality review for environmental studies, reports, proposals, and remediation deliverables.
  • Mentor, train, and develop junior environmental staff while coordinating workload, resources, and technical collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, geology, engineering, or a related field.
  • 20+ years of progressive environmental consulting experience, preferably in regulated building materials, environmental due diligence, and/or Brownfields.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental consulting services, regulatory requirements, project management, and professional consulting operations.
  • Experience with asbestos and lead-based materials surveys, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Brownfields redevelopment, environmental assessments, or remediation.
  • Strong proposal, technical writing, presentation, communication, business development, and client relationship skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Virginia as needed.
