HVAC Journeyman

Location: Fort Smith, AR — Old Greenwood Road; candidates must live in the Fort Smith area. Full-time, on-site work in commercial and residential environments with frequent travel throughout a defined territory. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; seasonal hours may vary.

Salary: $59,500–$89,200 USD per year

What you will do

• Conduct energy-efficiency HVAC maintenance tune-ups for commercial and residential customers.
• Perform pre- and post-installation verifications and technical data-gathering activities.
• Travel throughout a defined territory and complete scheduled A/C tune-ups each day.
• Use advanced tune-up technology, loggers, and HVAC tools.
• Provide project updates and input to program staff on scope, planning, and product effectiveness.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Arkansas Mechanical Journeyman License required.
• EPA Type Universal License required.
• High school diploma or GED; relevant industry certification or technical training is preferred.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a driving record meeting company safety standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to work in all climates, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration support.
