Senior FP&A Analyst / Finance Business Partner (Pigment)

Location: Cologne, Germany. Full-time role with office presence; eligible work-from-home arrangements may include up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU.

What you will do

• Coordinate and continuously improve Group-wide financial planning and forecasting processes.
• Own planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance-management cycles for Human Resources and Pharma Operations.
• Prepare monthly performance analyses, variance reports, management presentations, and Group-level HR reporting.
• Analyse financial performance, operational KPIs, cost drivers, risks, and value-creation opportunities.
• Partner with HR and Pharma Operations leadership, challenge assumptions, and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Develop business cases, scenario models, and financial-impact assessments using Pigment, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Approximately four to six years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, financial analysis, or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business-case development.
• Solid financial-modelling skills and the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, or similar analytical tools.
• Confident communication with senior stakeholders, cross-functional colleagues, and international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pigment or another enterprise planning platform.
• Experience improving processes through technology, automation, and AI.
