Training & Development Specialist II

What you will do

• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to analyze needs and design learning solutions from requirements through evaluation.
• Develop instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, video, job-aid, and performance-support experiences.
• Own the end-to-end execution and continuous improvement of onboarding programs, including scheduling, communications, materials, enrollment, logistics, and facilitation.
• Administer and optimize the LMS, including content, assignments, learning paths, reporting, user support, and system configuration.
• Maintain career growth resources, coordinate the company-wide learning calendar, and support enterprise training, upskilling, performance, talent, leadership, change, and AI initiatives.
• Measure learning effectiveness through participation, feedback, knowledge, application, and other relevant indicators, then recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, learning technology, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design, with experience designing learning solutions from needs analysis through evaluation.
• Experience administering an LMS or comparable learning technology.
• Strong project management, communication, facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, and diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with Articulate 360, Camtasia, or similar eLearning authoring tools.
• Experience designing and delivering onboarding programs.
• Experience translating complex subject matter into effective learning experiences.
• Relevant learning and development or instructional design certification.
