Senior Training Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within the continental United States; California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii are excluded.

Salary: $49,500–$92,800 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with operational subject-matter experts, leaders, and business partners to identify performance gaps and learning needs.
• Design, develop, deliver, and evaluate instructor-led, virtual, and digital learning programs.
• Create engaging learning experiences that improve employee performance, speed to proficiency, and operational readiness.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop curricula and training materials.
• Measure learning effectiveness and business outcomes while driving continuous improvement.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while influencing stakeholders through organizational transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, training design, organizational development, performance consulting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing and delivering instructor-led and virtual learning programs.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and strong analytical, problem-solving, consultation, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and the ability to collaborate with operational leaders, subject-matter experts, and business partners.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.
• Availability for travel and eligibility to work remotely within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, benefits administration, insurance, or third-party administrator environments.
• Experience with training needs analysis, technical writing, editing, curriculum development, and documented process improvement plans.
• Experience measuring learning effectiveness and business outcomes.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Captivate, or similar authoring tools.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and credentials such as CPTD, ATD, or an instructional design certification.
