Associate Manager, Market Access & Pricing (Healthcare)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; office-based. Some travel may be required. Working hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST, Monday to Friday, for 37.5 hours per week.

Base salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year CAD.

What you will do

• Support submissions to CADTH, INESSS, PMPRB, provincial agencies and programs, and private payers.
• Research and critically appraise clinical, economic and humanistic evidence for submission dossiers.
• Develop clinical landscape reviews, clinical summaries, budget impact reports, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, pricing analyses and payer documentation.
• Prepare presentation decks, negotiation tools for the pCPA and Product Listing Agreements, and administrative submission templates.
• Lead defined-scope projects, participate in client meetings, deliver presentations and liaise with Canadian payers.
• Train and mentor Associates on submission setup, compilation and document submission processes.

Requirements

• University degree in health services research, public health, epidemiology, economics or pharmacy; a Master’s degree is an asset.
• At least one year of experience on a Canadian Market Access & Pricing team or equivalent experience supporting Canadian market access activities.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, prioritization and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Business-level English proficiency is required.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and availability for EST business hours.

Nice to have

• French reading, writing and communication skills.
• Understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, HTA, and Canadian private and public payers.
• Knowledge of pharmacoeconomics in HTA review.
• Pharmaceutical or biotech market access experience.
