Business Manager

Location: Toronto, Canada

Expected compensation: CAD 70,000–80,000 annually; package compensation of CAD 95,000–105,000.

What you will do

• Build and manage a consulting business unit focused on the Toronto market.
• Identify business opportunities, develop client relationships, prepare commercial proposals, and negotiate project terms.
• Define consultant profiles, source and recruit consulting professionals, and support their assignments and career development.
• Monitor consultant satisfaction, performance, revenue, costs, margins, and operational targets.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, recruiters, delivery teams, managers, and directors to grow the business unit.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in business development, sales, recruitment, account management, consulting, or a similar role.
• Strong client communication, relationship-building, organization, resilience, and decision-making skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• Comfort working in an international and multicultural environment.
• No Canadian work experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in technology consulting, engineering, life sciences, or telecom.
• French language skills for working with clients and colleagues across Canada and the hirify.global network.
