Principal Electrical Design Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Farmingdale, New York, United States; onsite role.

Salary: $164,629–$289,521 annually, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus.

What you will do

• Lead research, development, design, and testing of complex hardware and firmware components, equipment, and systems.
• Develop system-level hardware architectures and evaluate technologies, budgets, schedules, and resource utilization.
• Define hardware requirements, hardware configuration items, performance levels, test environments, and verification matrices.
• Provide expert technical support for product-line development and future advanced-systems initiatives.
• Lead electrical engineering teams through technology and intellectual-property development.
• Mentor engineers and serve as a critical technical resource across Engineering.

Requirements

• 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Expertise in hardware architecture, requirements development, system design, and verification.
• Must have a background permitting the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance when required.
• ITAR-controlled products and technical data are restricted to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents.
• Must comply with TTM export-control policies and applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements.
