Senior Leader, U.S. Trade Compliance Program

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must already have work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the U.S.

Salary: $119,000–$190,400 annually, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan or annual bonus.

What you will do

• Support the Country Trade Compliance Officer in developing and executing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program.
• Lead initiatives covering U.S. import, export, sanctions, customs, and other trade regulations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks through reviews, controls, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Guide local trade compliance officers and business functions on classifications, licensing, jurisdiction determinations, and compliant transaction solutions.
• Manage trade recordkeeping repositories, risk assessments, metrics, reporting, and remediation activities.
• Support regulatory interactions, disclosures, audits, examinations, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence reviews.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 10+ years of U.S. trade compliance program experience, or bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing trade compliance programs under U.S. regulations, including Customs, BIS, EAR, OFAC, and ITAR.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft platform tools; working knowledge of ERP systems and SAP/GTS is preferred.
• Customs Broker License is strongly preferred; Certified Import and/or Export Specialist credentials are preferred.
• Ability to work remotely within a country team and collaborate across global functions, business divisions, and organizational levels.
• Must already hold U.S. work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the United States.
