TL;DR
Regulatory Affairs Associate (Healthcare Compliance): Managing regulatory monitoring, healthcare contracts, state licensing, Medicaid applications, and organization-wide policies and procedures with an accent on multi-jurisdiction compliance, documentation accuracy, and governance. Focus on leading Change of Ownership applications, maintaining licensing and contract records, and coordinating policy lifecycle controls across Compliance and Operations.

Location: Remote, with potential travel to the main office in New York or the nearest hirify.global hub for meetings and collaboration.

Base pay: $80,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Monitor local, regional, national, and international regulatory developments and communicate business impact.
  • Manage contracts with state and county agencies, Medicaid payors, and managed care organizations.
  • Lead Change of Ownership applications and state licensure processes for new markets.
  • Prepare, submit, and track state Medicaid applications and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain contract, licensing, and compliance documentation throughout its lifecycle.
  • Own policies and procedures governance, including version control, approvals, distribution, training, and obsolescence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, legal studies, public policy, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience working as a seasoned compliance professional.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, regulatory knowledge, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to handle highly protected information, solve complex problems, exercise judgment, and collaborate across Compliance and Operations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with healthcare contract management, licensing, Medicaid, or managed care.
  • Experience with state Medicaid or Medicare applications and regulatory filings.
  • Experience managing policies and procedures.
  • Notary Public certification.
