Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Group Life & Health) (Insurance Compliance): Managing regulatory change initiatives, compliance reviews, state filings, and control improvements with an accent on insurance regulations, risk identification, and regulatory research. Focus on interpreting complex requirements, coordinating remediation, and strengthening compliance controls across business processes and products.
Location: Hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in Cedar Rapids or Baltimore, United States. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Salary: $80,000–$90,0000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do
- Own regulatory change initiatives and compliance projects from planning through completion.
- Review business processes, controls, policies, products, and services for regulatory and internal standard adherence.
- Research and interpret current, proposed, and emerging laws, regulations, bulletins, and regulatory guidance.
- Identify risks and control gaps, recommend enhancements, and coordinate remediation with business partners.
- Coordinate state regulatory filings, track submissions, and support responses to regulator questions.
- Maintain compliance documentation and provide guidance, training, and support for new products, services, and process changes.
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration support.
- Availability to work in the office three days per week in Cedar Rapids or Baltimore.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, risk management, compliance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of regulatory compliance, insurance, or relevant experience, including at least 2 years in insurance, regulatory change management, or financial services compliance.
- Knowledge of state insurance, ERISA, DOL, and other applicable regulatory requirements, as well as compliance monitoring, control testing, issue identification, and remediation.
- Strong research, analytical, communication, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.
