Data Governance Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $79,400–$112,175 per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Support enterprise data governance processes, standards, and program maturity.
• Maintain metadata and data lineage for governed data.
• Work directly with data to understand its meaning and identify potential anomalies.
• Support data quality activities and governance issue tracking.
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards on ownership and stewardship processes.
• Help business teams understand governed data and participate in governance meetings and working groups.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related work.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with data.
• Experience with data governance concepts and processes.
• Experience or knowledge involving metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and explain the importance of governed data.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Python experience.
• Financial services or banking experience.
