Engineering Project Team Leader (Engine Simulation)

Location: Mossville, Illinois; 5 days in-office at hirify.global Technical Center, Building L

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year

What you will do

• Develop and down-select concepts and performance component recipes for engine and aftertreatment systems using simulation and detailed data analysis.
• Lead a diverse engineering team in defining, optimizing, and validating product requirements and development trade-offs.
• Ensure engine products satisfy emissions standards and use data analytics to improve optimization and robustness.
• Deliver simulation and analysis with clear recommendations for customers, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Partner with design, manufacturing, supply chain, and test teams to deliver products and improve validation processes.
• Coach engineers, strengthen engineering standards, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited engineering field.
• Extensive experience in analytical thinking, technical excellence, project management, computer-aided engineering, communication, and process management.
• Expert-level problem-solving and accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with computer-based simulation, design validation, engineering analysis, and complex technical solutions.
• Ability to work in-office five days per week in Mossville, Illinois.
