TL;DR
Sr Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst (Aerospace): Developing and coordinating integrated master plans and schedules for complex aerospace and defense programs with an accent on schedule integration, risk analysis, and critical-path management. Focus on analyzing schedule performance, resolving network logic conflicts, presenting status to senior stakeholders, and mentoring scheduling analysts.

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office or hybrid environment. Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.

Salary: $124,771.42–$171,560.71 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

  • Lead the preparation, development, coordination, and maintenance of integrated master plans and schedules for highly complex programs.
  • Ensure horizontal and vertical schedule integration across projects and enterprise functions.
  • Perform schedule risk, critical path, network logic, performance, and health metric analyses.
  • Identify schedule shortfalls, resolve conflicts, and implement corrective actions to protect delivery timelines.
  • Prepare schedule status reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support scheduling best practices, and mentor junior and intermediate analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in project planning and scheduling; 10 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project Professional or a similar scheduling toolset.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management, DCMA 14-point analysis, IPMDAR DI_MGMT-81861, MIL-STD-881, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Experience building Integrated Master Schedules and applying schedule performance and health metrics.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with resource-loaded schedules, rolling-wave planning, schedule risk assessments, resource leveling, and driving-path analysis.
  • Knowledge of engineering design, lifecycle concepts, IMP, IMS, WBS, DoD contracting, and government auditing standards.
  • Experience mentoring, delivering training, and working with major subcontractor schedules.
