Operations Manager

What you will do

• Support the efficient and profitable day-to-day operation of the branch.
• Oversee warehouse, delivery drivers, inside sales, office and clerical functions, and potentially outside sales.
• Assist with job management, inventory policy, inventory control, pricing, credit, receivables, purchasing, and accounts payable activities.
• Provide inside sales and warehouse support as needed.
• Assist with employee hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, rewards, discipline, and problem resolution.
• Schedule vendor training sessions and coordinate employee participation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, personal computers, and professional email communication.
• Ability to delegate tasks and manage large projects as needed.
• Ability to perform regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing activities.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and work more than 40 hours per week when required.
