Shop Supervisor (IBEW 1547) (Fleet Equipment)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska; onsite at a company-designated office or field location

What you will do

• Supervise in-house mechanics, field mechanics, fuel and lube technicians, and service vendors.
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance, inspections, emergency repairs, and servicing of light and heavy equipment.
• Review equipment manuals, work orders, warranty procedures, and manufacturer policies to guide maintenance decisions.
• Document completed work in system software and manage equipment records.
• Obtain and analyze vendor quotes while managing parts, tools, supplies, inventory, and vendor quality.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in fleet equipment maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with scheduling, preventive maintenance, inventory management, computer systems, and MS Office.
• Strong safety commitment, communication, organization, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required.
