Operations Supervisor

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate procurement, sales order, purchase order, vendor claim, and transfer activities.
• Oversee inventory levels, cycle counts, stockout prevention, shrink reduction, freight expenses, and accounts payable discrepancies.
• Supervise receiving, storage, routing, loading, and shipment preparation according to customer instructions.
• Train assigned employees and ensure compliance with company, government, customer, safety, security, and quality requirements.
• Review operational reports, communicate results to management, and develop procedures that improve efficiency.
• Support sales objectives while operating within budget and meeting delivery times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, one year of similar experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of operations experience in an industrial distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience supervising a team and managing operations for a $5–10 million wholesale warehouse facility.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office and inventory management software, including Prelude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of industrial product lines is helpful.
• Must be at least 18 years old and work onsite in Brookshire, Texas.
