TL;DR
Willow Application Advisor (Healthcare IT): Designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting Epic EHR applications for complex healthcare clients with an accent on application integrity, system integration, and customer-specific configuration. Focus on analyzing cross-system impacts, leading upgrades and testing, managing complex support projects, and mentoring application support teams.

Location: US - National; travel up to 10%; on-call rotations may include nights and weekends

What you will do

  • Design, build, test, and troubleshoot Epic Willow EHR applications for complex healthcare clients.
  • Analyze customer requests and workflows, define detailed requirements, and implement system changes across integrated applications.
  • Assess cross-system impacts, lead upgrades and testing, and identify configuration improvements and efficiencies.
  • Manage multiple complex clients, projects, tickets, documentation, SLAs, and change-control processes.
  • Provide customer support and guide communication and change management with technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Onboard and mentor team members on customer configurations, processes, and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Active Epic certification is required.
  • At least 3 years of direct experience with moderate knowledge of the relevant application functionality.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, written, verbal, and customer-service skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, change management processes, Microsoft Office, and independent and collaborative work.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, determine appropriate escalation, and communicate with stakeholders up to the C-suite.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Previous management or project management experience.
  • Participation in systems implementations.
