EH&S Regional Manager

Location: OPS- Rialto, California, United States

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 annually, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation of safety and environmental strategies, policies, management systems, and compliance practices for a facility.
• Identify EHS regulations and risks, develop mitigation solutions, and partner with facility management, risk, quality, legal, and HR teams.
• Conduct annual compliance and ISO 14001 audits, investigate incidents, follow up on workers’ compensation claims, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS and regulatory training for applicable employees.
• Prepare EHS reports, metrics, and communications for internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and hazmat management while aligning programs with other facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Business, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience implementing environmental, health, and safety programs, standards, and guidelines.
• At least 2 years of audit, compliance, and training experience focused on OSHA, USDOT, NFPA, ISO, and EPA standards.
• Experience with EHS management systems, project management, cross-functional teams, and complex problem solving.
• Experience influencing, leading, and directing individuals across multiple functional areas without direct oversight.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and willingness to travel on a limited basis within and outside the state.

Nice to have

• Current First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, or AED certification.
• EHS certifications or training such as OSHA 10-hour, OSHA 30-hour, ASP, CSP, or CIH.
• Understanding of EHS program implementation in distribution warehouses and manufacturing environments.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
