Plant EHS Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: US VA Danville Plant 0126; onsite manufacturing facility role

Salary: $105,288.00–$195,533.00 per year

What you will do

• Lead environmental, health, and safety strategy development and deployment within the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and execute EHS initiatives aligned with business objectives and performance goals.
• Administer and continuously improve environmental and safety management systems.
• Lead ISO 14001 implementation and prepare the facility for ISO 45001 certification.
• Facilitate EHS governance, establish leading and lagging performance indicators, and improve workforce engagement.
• Build relationships with regulatory agencies, community leaders, and external stakeholders while promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and leading proactive EHS programs in manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of management experience implementing or sustaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or comparable EHS management systems.
• Demonstrated success improving EHS performance and working with governmental regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations, leadership and coaching, problem-solving, business acumen, and communication.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in an environmental or safety discipline or engineering.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, or equivalent certification.
