Clinical Support Specialist LTC

Location: Remote within Alberta; the ideal candidate is based in Edmonton and must be able to travel outside the province, including overnight travel and occasional travel to other provinces or regions of Ontario.

Salary: $38.85–$58.27 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Provide education and support to healthcare professionals on incontinence products and the safe use of skin and wound care products.
• Work with the long-term care clinical and sales teams to grow accounts and implement Skin Health & Continence Programs.
• Coordinate evaluations, implementations, account updates, and sustainability activities for long-term care homes.
• Maintain current knowledge of best-practice recommendations for incontinence, skin, and wound care.
• Support healthcare facility policies and practices and attend conferences or sales meetings when required.

Requirements

• Current RN or RPN registration, or PSW, HCA, or CCA qualifications with long-term care experience.
• At least 5 years of related experience in acute care, long-term care, or home care, working with an interdisciplinary clinical team.
• At least 3 years of medical device industry experience, specifically in continence and skin care.
• Strong interpersonal, client service, organizational, analytical, time-management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, provide education using adult learning principles, and use Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
• Driver’s license, shift-work availability, and ability to travel overnight and reorganize working days around long-term care home needs are required.
