Sr System Administrator (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design, implement, patch, monitor, and maintain on-premises and cloud infrastructure using VMware, Nutanix, and Azure.
• Manage Active Directory, identity management, group policies, organizational units, and domain services.
• Implement and support LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, firewall, and information security infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines, storage, backup systems, server blade systems, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Monitor critical systems, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, recommend improvements, and support automation.
• Maintain technical documentation, provide training, assist IT initiatives, and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and related regulations.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience as an IT Systems Engineer in a medium- to high-volume environment.
• Experience with Nutanix, VMware, cloud infrastructure, backup appliances, storage arrays, and server blade systems.
• Experience managing LAN, WAN, WLAN, Internet, Juniper networking solutions, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Knowledge of cloud and on-premises technologies, hypervisors, networking, Active Directory, storage, backups, and automation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, solve problems, train colleagues, and complete tasks within time constraints.
