Systems Engineer (Azure)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States; hybrid schedule with up to two work-from-home days per week after training for eligible associates

What you will do

• Prioritize and resolve Level 2–3 engineering tickets and escalate complex server, cloud, and network issues.
• Support Azure cloud migrations, including Entra ID configurations, hybrid domain joins, and server-to-cloud transitions.
• Maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, IIS, and related infrastructure services.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, access points, VPNs, VLANs, routing, and other network components.
• Evaluate customer environments, identify performance bottlenecks, and lead remediation efforts.
• Plan and deploy servers, cloud resources, network hardware, and other infrastructure while maintaining availability and reliability.

Requirements

• At least five years of industry experience, including two or more years in a managed service provider environment.
• Experience with Exchange and server management, service migrations, virtual machines, Microsoft servers, Microsoft 365, and GSuite.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, replication, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, DHCP, diagnostics, and logging.
• Networking experience with firewalls, routing, security policies, NAT, port forwarding, VPNs, VLANs, and Cisco routing protocols and CLI.
• Experience with VoIP application management and AWS deployments.
• Ability to solve complex problems and follow issues through to resolution in a fast-paced environment.
