CW - Engineering Technician I - (T1) (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Perform routine testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical problems.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and rework after testing.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, written descriptions, and operating procedures.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on semiconductor equipment.
• Maintain logbooks, test procedures, quality notifications, and other engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Basic analytical skills and the ability to apply standard operating procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions involving extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work in environments with potentially difficult noise levels.
• Ability to work in clean-room environments using required personal protective equipment.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work as required to support customer needs.
