What you will do

• Develop PCB-based power electronic solutions according to technical requirements.
• Verify concepts from manual drawings and simulate functionality, high-voltage, high-current, EMC, and thermal performance.
• Calculate PCB layout parasitics and estimate component lifetime.
• Select electrical components and build and maintain component libraries.
• Coordinate development activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, documentation, and training materials.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.
• Professional experience developing or simulating PCB-based power electronic components or systems.
• Experience with PCB development standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Practical experience with electrical circuit simulation and PCB layout/parasitics simulation tools.
• Knowledge of power loop design and routing for accuracy and reliability in harsh environments.
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as Ansys Q3D and Icepak.
